—- Thank you, Micchi! Great work!
So, this time I did the romaji for A Time To Kill, always from Kimi No Museum’s latest Monologue Album.
Once again, thank more my friend who’s checking the translation than me, because without her correcting lots of parts, it would’ve been pure shit!;V;” (I’ll never love her enough for willing to take her time to check and correct the songs I attempt to translate <—- without the necessary knowledge).
But now… let’s get to the song!X3 There is a dialogue between the detective and (supposedly) the police woman (whose part is sung by Cathy). But… the spoken part seems too tomboyish to me honestly (especially since her chara design from the cd cover looks quite feminine and sexy), so I thought it could be just his assistant… but it could be that Cathy has a deep womanly voice when singing and a more tomboyish/genki voice when acting… IDK.
Ah a little trivia: this song actually relates to a fact happening in one of their previous Monologue albums: Monologue ~Shinainaru Kimi~ (or “Kun”, sorry IDK how it should be for sure).
Anyway enough blabbering… now, TO THE SONG!*3*
Kotae no mienu kaijiken ga, susurinaku otoko no shiwaza da to wa omoenai.
Bukimi na shoujo tada ugokazu, subete mita no nara, kotae wo oshiete hoshii.
Hokano dareka no te ga…
(Sore wa arienai to)
Higeki e to michibiku…
(Sono toki mitsukarazu, aah)
Genwa ni wa dare mo, otoko no hoka ni, yougisha wa inai no dakara…
(Nage dashite… mottomo na… riyuu tsukeshite. Zaijou wo…)
Sou otoko e to, kiseru no wa, yurusarenai to…
(Nagareru ni makase… otoko ni tsumi wo… kabutte norau… hoka michi wa nai!)
Tatoeba ugokamu shoujo no urami ga, yaiba ni kawatta no nara, chikireta sen mo tsunagaru
(Nani wo kangaete? Damarikonderu no… Tantei-dono jiken wa owatta mo dousen desu!)
”Yappari, hannin wa seisouin no otoko nandesuka?”
“Aikawarazu no messou nda”
“Akuma de… kore wa ore kojin no kotae ni suginai ga! Ano ningyou ga yatta to shika omoe!”
“Sore… honki de itteta’ndesuka?”
“Touzen da, kandzuusai wa oittetemorau ka?”
Daremo ga, uso da to, shinjiru, koto naku, subete wo, ushinaou tomo, kotae wa kawaranai darou.
(Amari ni bakageta, suiri da to warau, tsuranuki tousu no nara, semete watashi wa shinji yo!)
The display of the truth: the unsolvable mystery case.
I don’t think it was the sobbing man who did it.
The eerie girl won’t even move, if she saw it all, then I’d like for her to give me an explanation.
The hand of someone else…
(I think that’s unlikely…)
Guides towards the tragedy…
(… that the motive is still not found, ahh!)
On the crime scene, right now, there’s no other possible suspect except the man…
(For the nature of the offense, the most reasonable explanation given is: fear of being tossed away…)
We cannot afford to put the charges on the man.
(We’ll blame it all on the man, who let things unfold… There is no other way!)
If we could turn the immobile girl’s grudge into a sword, and connect the lines torn off with it…
(What are you scheming, closed in your silence? Mr. Detective, this case might as well be considered closed.)
Police Woman: “So, the culprit was the garbage man in the end?”
Detective: “You’re being absurd, as usual!”
Police Woman: “Am I wrong?”
Detective: “To the utmost… this is just my personal solution, nothing more than that! I can only think it was that doll’s doing.”
Police Woman: “Are… you serious about it?”
Detective: “But of course. Do you think we should overlook a crime of adultery?”
I don’t believe anyone would think this is a lie. Even if I were to lose it all, my answer still won’t change.
(I laugh at your incredibly foolish reasoning. But if you persist, I might as well believe you.)
